2.2.2. SOOlink subsystemΒΆ

Soolink is a subsystem belonging to the SOO framework that is in charge of managing all available networking interfaces of a SOO device and provides functionalities to the agency and ME for various purposes such a reliable communication in broadcast mode. For example, the DCM needs Soolink in order to use an adequate communication medium with respect to the quality of service required by the migration of Mobile Entities.

The subsystem is broken down into several functional blocks like transcoder, transceiver, plugins.
